Vladimir Putin

From True Capitalist Radio Wiki

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin (/ˈpuːtɪn/; Russian: Влади́мир Влади́мирович Пу́тин; born October 7, 1952, is the current President of Russia. Ghost has never been a fan of Vladimir Putin, and routinely criticized him during True Capitalist Radio during 2011 and 2012, often referring to him as Pooty-Poo. His role as Russia's Prime Mister and later President has been highly controversial. Nikolai was apparently a supporter of Putin, according to one of his calls he made.

In early 2014, he and Russia were involved in aggression towards Ukraine, which some feared a possible war could break out.

During the Return, Ghost's opinion of Vladimir Putin did not change at all. Ghost was briefly open to the idea of Trump making a deal with the Putin to avoid World War III but he still reminded his audience that this didn't mean he trusted the Russians and he quickly began demanding more aggressive actions against them after Trump's inauguration. Putin and Russia were involved in manipulating the United States elections to get Donald Trump elected through propaganda on social media and were possibly also involved in the hacking of DNC Emails. Ghost, however, denied these allegations and claimed that this was a smear campaign against Donald Trump orchestrated by the liberal media and Deep State, except for the DNC hackings, which he believed was done by the Russians and Richard B. Spencer to discredit Trump. In 2017, Ghost falsely prognosticated Putin "would not survive 2017," in April of that year, which he did. There was an operation the Capitalist Army and Ghost's Inner Circle were involved in, called Spilt Vodka, where the goal was to manipulate the Russian elections and get Putin unelected. Though this operation did not stop Putin from winning the election, Ghost still considered it a success because Putin wasn't able to secure a landslide victory like in the previous elections and opposition to his leadership grew significantly.
